De opwarming van de Golfstroom zorgt ervoor dat het bad het hele jaar door aanzienlijk warmer is dan waar dan ook op dezelfde breedtegraad. Daarom begint de vakantieperiode in mei, vooral voor cultuurliefhebbers en actieve vakantiegangers. Het startsein voor het hoofdreisseizoen wordt echter pas gegeven in juni, wanneer tot zeven uur zon per dag wordt verwacht. In het hoogseizoen tussen juni en september moet u echter altijd rekening houden met regen tijdens uw verblijf en de juiste kleding bij u hebben.

Regelmatige evenementen

Het gevarieerde programma van evenementen in Bath begint al met het Bath Bach Festival in februari, wanneer de mooie klanken van klassieke muziek de donkere winterdagen oplichten. We gaan verder met de Bath Half Marathon in maart, het Bath Comedy Festival in april en het grote culturele festival in mei. Cultuurliefhebbers kunnen zich ook verheugen op het Fringe Festival in juni, het Jane Austin Festival in september en het Bath Mozart Festival in november.
