Welcome to The Rose, a refined and private family retreat in Haarlem, designed for up to four guests who value comfort, tranquility, and space.
Located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood, this elegant apartment offers a peaceful atmosphere away from crowds, while still being close to everything. The property provides complete privacy during your stay, allowing your family to fully relax after a day of exploring.
Inside, you’ll find a beautifully maintained interior with comfortable sleeping arrangements, quality furnishings, and a warm, calming ambiance that makes it easy to unwind. A true highlight of the home is the luxurious bathroom, featuring a large bathtub and a separate walk-in shower — perfect for a relaxing soak after a day in Amsterdam or a refreshing start to your morning.
The modern design and generous space add an extra touch of comfort and elegance to your stay. The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessed via two characteristic Dutch staircases.
As is common in traditional Dutch homes, the stairs are fairly steep and there is no elevator.
While this may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility, it adds authentic charm and ensures extra privacy and quiet once inside. As with most historic European neighborhoods, parking directly in the street is regulated.
In Voorhelmstraat, paid parking is available for short stays (maximum 3 hours).
For longer parking, free parking is available approximately a 10-minute walk away on Graafschapstraat.
To make this convenient, The Rose provides a complimentary folding bike — a fun and practical way to experience the Dutch cycling culture while reaching the apartment in just a few minutes. Public transport connections are excellent, and Amsterdam can be reached in only 15 minutes by direct train.
