Our cosy flat is located in a 4-family chalet on the ground floor above Lake Brienz at around 1,500 m above sea level on the family-friendly Axalp, surrounded by greenery with lake and mountain views.
The Axalp can also be reached by public transport - however, it is highly recommended that you bring your own vehicle, as public transport is only available from 09:00 to 17:00.
From May to October, the Axalp Windegg AG chairlift also operates in summer.Our holiday flat is regularly occupied by ourselves and therefore has everything you need to feel good and relax in everyday life.Do you want to relax in the mountains or spend a few unforgettable days with your family? Hike to the Hinterburgsee or use the Axalp as a starting point for hiking routes.
You can reach Axalp in just over an hour from Bern or Lucerne.
Down in the valley, the Schnitzler village of Brienz awaits you on the lake of the same name.
The Ballenberg Open-Air Museum and the Rothorn railway are other attractive day trip destinations in the immediate vicinity.
You are renting a furnished 3.5 room holiday flat (non-smoking / no pets) on the Axalp.- 1 bedroom with double bunk bed (180 x 200 cm)- 1 room remains private but locked!- 1 bathroom with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin- 1 living room with Swedish stove and TV- 1 kitchen with dining table open to the living room- 1 entrance hall with wardrobe- 1 outdoor seating area with table and 2 benches, 1 parasol and 2 deckchairsThe kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, coffee machine (Nespresso), toaster, mixer, kettle, fondue caquelon, raclette oven, fridge incl. freezer compartment, ceramic hob with 4 hotplates, crockery and cutlery.
The most common spices and washing-up liquid are available.
