Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism.
Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats.
The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building.
The idea is being realised by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.Public transport: Every 10 minutes: Bus 201 from Montreux or Villeneuve, bus stop "Bonivard".
Walk up Rue Bonivard to the 1st square with a fountain.
Once an hour: S3 train from Montreux or Villeneuve, "Veytaux-Chillon" stop.
Walk up the Rue du They to the 1st square with a fountain.By car: from the RC Montreux-Villeneuve, follow the signs "Veytaux Village" or "Hôtel Masson" and go up to the 1st square with a fountain.Car park: There is a free car park in front of the house (not covered).
It is possible to buy a parking card for each additional car.
The parking cards are available in the flat.Number of persons 6-9: The house can accommodate up to nine guests (plus baby).
There are two large rooms each with a double bed (160x200), two smaller rooms each with a bunk bed (90x200) and one room with a single bed (80x200).
A baby cot (up to 2 years) is also available.Season: The house can be rented all year round.Short holidays: Short stays low season (November to Christmas - minimum 3 nights)Long-term hire: January - March from 4 weeks at favourable conditions.Outside space: The flat has a private balcony and the garden is for shared use.Heating: Central heating (pellets) with radiators.Stove / fireplace: Fireplace.WLAN: Is available.Pets: Pets are not allowed.Altitude: 438 metres above sea level.Other living room features: with fireplace and access to the balcony with spectacular views.Other kitchen equipment: 2 screw-in coffee pots (Moka - Bialetti).
You will need coffee powder for this.

The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care.
Although it is equipped to modern technical standards, certain functional details do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger.
