The mountain village Flachau is on a slight slope with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain world of the Salzburger Land (Dachstein, Bischofsmütze) and Flachau.
All around the chalets there are a variety of spots for grilling, chatting, sunbathing and relaxing.
Hiking and mountain biking trails tot he Grießenaralmen lead right past the chalets and there are walking paths through forests and meadows, running and Nordic walking routes and cycle paths right next to the village.In front of each chalet there is a lovely grill area with a garden table, benches and deckchairs.
