Inside you have a pleasant living area and a kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, oven, stove, cookware, plates and cutlery, wine glasses and a fridge; it’s easy to gather at the dining table.
There are three bedrooms.
The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
You can use the washing machine.
Outside there’s a garden with a patio or balcony and seating.
For children there’s a baby cot and high chair; there’s no stair gate.
Bikes can’t be stored indoors. You can park for free on the street at Nieuwe Dijkstraat 3b. Prefer closer? You can park next to the house in the narrow alleyway; this is at your own risk.
There’s no option to store bikes indoors.
Pets are not allowed.

Start at the Polderhuis Westkapelle (Dike and War Museum) for the story of the dike breach, then walk along the sea dike past the Sherman tank to the Westkapelle Hoog lighthouse; on opening days you can go up for wide views. For the beach and a bite, Strandpaviljoen De Westkaap at the very tip of Walcheren is a good pick.
The path over the basalt blocks along the dike is a short, adventurous walk with kids, and sunsets are often beautiful here. Fancy an afternoon with the family away from the beach? Drive to Terra Maris in Oostkapelle, the museum of nature and landscape with a large museum garden; during school holidays there are regular children’s activities. Quiet hours: 22:00 to 8:00. For a city day go to Middelburg at around 13 km or the boulevard of Vlissingen at about 14 km. Historic Veere is about 16 km. Ruhig gelegen, mit schöner Terrasse.
Die Armatur im Bad war defekt, wurde nach einem Telefonat mit dem Vermieter sofort ausgetauscht.
Die oberen Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch eingerichtet.
Matratzen in den oberen Räumen sind nach meiner Meinung nicht die besten.
Die Beschreibung der Wohnung stimmt nicht ganz mit der Realität.
Es gibt keine Badewanne, kein Doppelwaschbecken, keine Glastüren.
Ein Fernseher wäre auch schön gewesen, dieser wird aber auch nicht aufgeführt, ist mir bei der Buchung aber nicht aufgefallen.

Das Haus hat ne prima Lage. Über die Straße, Treppen zum Deich hoch und das Meer liegt direkt vor einem. Zum Badestrand nicht weit.
Ums Eck vom Haus gibt's leckeren Kibbeling, Pommes und Softeis....
Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, war aber sauber und das ist uns sehr wichtig! Alles Nötige sow...
Für 5 Personen ist es eher eng, zu zweit war es absolut ausreichend. Wenig Stauraum in der Küche für Lebensmittel o.ä.
Das "Elternschlafzimmer" ist im EG, in die beiden Kinderzimmer muss man über eine enge, steile, geschwungene Treppe nach oben steigen.Für Kleinkinder oder Menschen mit Gehbehinderu...
