Buckland House is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse, nestled in a secluded valley just 2 miles from Slapton Sands and 3 miles from the popular Blackpool Sands.
Set among rolling farmland, this elegant home offers a tranquil retreat with stunning views towards Dartmoor and is ideal for larger family groups or gatherings. The property combines traditional charm with modern luxury, featuring a spacious conservatory and a walled garden with ponds and waterfalls, perfect for relaxing or outdoor dining.
The extensive grounds include a children's play area, orchards, and a patio with barbecue facilities, allowing guests to enjoy the rural surroundings. Buckland House comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests across 7 tastefully furnished bedrooms.
The luxurious master bedroom includes a king-size bed (can be twin beds) and an en-suite bathroom with a power shower over a bath.
The second bedroom has a 5ft bed with an en-suite shower room.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 are double rooms with twin beds, while Bedroom 5 offers full-size adult bunk beds, and Bedroom 6 features a 4ft 6in bed and vanity basin.
The ground floor also offers a self-contained apartment with a double bed and en-suite shower room, perfect for those seeking extra privacy. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen includes a Rangemaster oven, dishwasher, American fridge-freezer, and microwave.
The large dining table seats up to 14, and the adjoining laundry/utility room is fully stocked for convenience. Guests can unwind in the elegant blue sitting room with a wood burner, or the red lounge, perfect for children, with an open log fire and TV. A wood-panelled den with Bar Billiards, piano, and games leads to the conservatory.
Outside, a raised patio offers views of the duck pond and extensive gardens. Buckland House offers modern amenities such as Freeview TV, Wi-Fi, and a telephone for local and incoming calls.

Wir hatten ein fantastisches Familientreffen in diesem georgianischen Haus! Die geräumige Küche machte das gemeinsame Kochen zum Kinderspiel, und das Esszimmer war perfekt für unsere großen Familienessen. Der Blick über Dartmoor war atemberaubend, besonders von der erhöhten Terrasse aus.

Wir haben hier ein wunderschönes Wochenende verbracht. Der Wintergarten ist ein toller Ort, um mit einem Buch zu entspannen und den Blick in den Garten zu genießen. Der Grill auf der Terrasse war perfekt für unseren Grillabend.
