In the middle of the west coast of Karpathos lies the picturesque village of Lefkos. Relaxation is highly valued here and it is easy to forget all the must-haves. For those who enjoy choice, there are four beaches to choose from – one for every taste. The water is always wonderful and attracts many cooling baths. In the evenings, cozy taverns await at the small fishing port and along the beach. Here you can enjoy delicious food such as freshly caught fish and authentic tzatziki.

Once the mountains around Lefko's shores were inhabited, but today the stone houses stand empty and quietly leave their historical imprint of what the resort once was. Karpathos has an exciting story to tell and a very beautiful nature that invites excursions. There is a local bus to Karpathos town 5 times/week and we therefore recommend that you rent a car and take a trip in the hilly landscape where beautiful views await around every bend. In Lefkos, no excursions are arranged from Apollo or anyone else. So the situation of discovering the place and the island yourself according to your own wishes has all the conditions to be successful.
