A peaceful haven in the bustling city of Amsterdam!
The apartment is located on the third floor of a quiet part of the popular Pijp neighbourhood. It is walking distance from the Albert Cuyp market, and many great eateries and cafés for which this area is known for.
It's an ideal location to discover the city, enjoying the benefits of living the local life but also having a
quick and easy connection to the city center and museum area.
The apartment is located 20 minutes away from the airport, and you will be able to reach the heart of the city in 20 minutes by foot, and even less by public transport. The museum district is 15 minutes away.
Public transport is available nearby and it is also possible to rent bicycles at the end of the street. Boat tours are available from the canal which is right next to the accommodation.
The Space:
The residence occupies a bustling local neighbourhood, adored by visitors and residents alike. It combines easy access to the city with an authentic, laid back vibe.
Spread across 37 square meters and beautifully presented throughout, the private rooms make a luxurious base for a couple (or a small family, for short stays). The rooms are stylish, each equipped with attractive fixtures, storage space and contains two single sofas/beds.
You will enjoy your private living quarters including a bathroom/toilet, living room and bedroom, but the entrance to the apartment, and the hallway are shared.
The facilities include internet, Netflix TV, coffee machine, Kettle, a fridge, a microwave and cutlery (not a kitchen). There are also many food take away possibilities in the area.
This space is certain to leave a lasting impression, the accommodation ensures an unforgettable stay in the Dutch capital.
Keep in mind that the apartment is located on a third floor without elevator. Typical Amsterdam staircases are steep and sometimes daunting for first time visitors.
I will be more than happy to carry your luggage up and down when you check in, however.
The apartment is best suited for 2 persons, with the possibility to turn one or both of the living room couches into sleeper sofas if needed, on request (there will be a small surcharge of €25 per extra bed, per night, and this can only be agreed upon for short stays, prior to the reservation).
Furthermore, it is possible to split the King size bed into two 90cm width beds in the main bedroom, upon request, and prior to arrival.
The apartment is fully non-smoker, and a wholly non suitable place for parties, or loud get togethers, as it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood!
We ask our guests to be mindful of our neighbours and respect the house rules. Please bear this in mind when you book. And do not hesitate to ask if you have any uncertainties. This is most important to us.
Early checkins are possible, from 11:00 if the apartment has not been reserved the previous night. Late checkout are also possible if the apartment isn't reserved for the following night. These will be at an additional fee of €50 to be paid in cash at the property upon arrival.

Julien has a lovely home that is quiet, private, and spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes, as well as public transportation. We loved staying here as it was a bit removed from the busy city center, but close enough to easily get anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend, and would stay here again!

Host is excellent, apartment clean, and location served us well. It was as advertised, so people should make note that it is a third floor apartment accessed by stairs. I was traveling with a niece and this apartment offered the opportunity for two bedrooms, which can be a challenge to find. I highly recommend.

The location is perfect for travelers looking to stay close to the action of Amsterdam in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby and the Metro is a short walk away. Julien was a great host and he greeted us, helped carry our bags after a long day of travel and shared local recommendations when we arrived.
