Buttercup Pod is one of six dog friendly lodges with hot tubs in the village of St Harmon near Rhayader, Mid Wales. Spacious indoors and enclosed outdoor spaces make Buttercup Pod an easy and relaxing spot for a pet friendly family holiday in Wales.
Buttercup Pod is also a great base for exploring the local public footpaths, villages and riverside walks. The Gilfach Nature Reserve is a two mile walk from your door. Meanwhile the drama of the Elan Valley awaits. Absorb the views by hiring bikes, driving, walking or pony trekking! Or cosy up inside with Netflix. Relax in the private hot tub if you prefer watching the birds of prey or the stars above.
The bustling market town of Rhayader, nearby, has pubs, shops, cafes and takeaways for refuelling after a day out in the fresh air.
This property sleeps up to 4 guests. There is one king size bedroom, and a second bedroom with the choice of either two single beds, or another king size bed if you prefer.
Enjoy relaxing hot tub breaks for couples or stress-free family getaways. Buttercup Pod has a modern kitchen and a generous living space. The cleanliness and location couldn’t be more perfect. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. All the flower beds and surroundings were well
Maintained and overall it was everything we hoped for and more.
Not being able to check in before 4pm!!! And then check out at 10am!!!! You can check in earlier but it’s an extra £20ph… which I found disappointing. Basically all that tells me is the rooms were ready but they just want to squeeze more money out of you. Due to this I wouldn’t book again for one night as you are only paying for a 16hrs stay.

Snowdrop was wonderful, better than we expected. The pod was comfortable, clean and modern. The hot tub was a lovely treat and we had a dip every evening. The staff were very helpful when we had a query. We can’t wait to come back!
