Just a stone’s throw from Hadrians Wall, what’s not to love about this stylish romantic bolthole for two!. 1 step to entrance.

No smoking.. It’s all about location, location, location! Set amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in England the Bunker enjoys uninterrupted views across to Hadrians Wall and Steel Rigg.
Fully converted in 2022 to give a high standard of accommodation throughout.
Entry from the rear of the cottage leads into a modern styled kitchen/diner with all your staycation needs.
Steps lead down into the amazing light filled space, with wall-to-wall glass and ceiling lantern making the absolute most of the spectacular scenery of the Northumberland National Park. The iconic Hadrian’s Wall feels in touching distance, and the dark starry skies an awesome sight when night settles in. A modern bathroom with shower leads off the bedroom and a staircase leads down to the living room with recliner sofa and 55" TV. Bifold doors lead out to the garden area, imagine sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by some of England’s most breathtaking scenery, and gazing up at the starry skies.
For cooler nights, cosy up round the sunken fire pit and toast marshmallows while enjoying your favourite tipple. Within a short stroll you can discover the famous Vindolanda Roman Fort, The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the world-famous Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall.
The location is excellent for exploring the spectacular scenery of the north of England, the Scottish borderland and the Lake District National Park, which is just an hour away. The historic market town of Hexham is a must, which boasts a stunning abbey, the oldest gaol in the country and an abundance of eclectic shops, restaurants and pubs.
Continue to the beautiful Roman town of Corbridge and meander round its boutique shops, art galleries and antique shops, stop for a coffee or take a stroll along the river.
At the end of a day exploring, enjoy a short stroll to the popular Twice Brewed Inn, serving great food and assortment of local ales with large beer garden, onsite Brew House and Dark Skies Observatory – everything you need on the doorstep! Pub and restaurant 350 yards. The Bunker (ref UK40225) can be booked together with Vallum Villa (ref UK40231) to accommodate up to 8 guests. Free WiFi There are steps to the property. The Bunker is a lovely place to stay,
The views are stunning and there's some good walks nearby.
Hadrians wall is very impressive and within walking distance.
The Twice Brewed Pub is a great place to eat.
It's quite remote but the lovley town of Hexham is only15 minutes away.
I'd recommend staying here.

We stayed the week over New year, the bunker is great, very clean, smart and the Veiw is amazing. Only 30min walk to Sycamore Gap, (so sad that the tree was cut down), and nice walks along Hadrians wall. Lovey local pub, just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time at the Bunker, the hot tub was amazing looking out over the fields.
The kitchen equipment could be better, I could not find a cork screw on the first night, so I messaged the manager in the morning, asking if the property had one, but I did not get a response. and there were no dishes to cook anything in the oven. But the property was lovely.
