A contemporary tribute to the 19th century: following a construction phase lasting around three years, the Hotel Schillerhof has opened its doors in the heart of Weimar, the city of classical music. Located in the Old Town’s pedestrianised area between Theaterplatz and Schillerstraße, this new boutique hotel – classified in the international ‘Smart Luxury’ category – is now welcoming its first guests, distinguished by a blend of state-of-the-art facilities and classical architectural accents. Even from the outside, the building’s architecture stands out for its hybrid character. The listed and freshly restored neo-Baroque façade blends seamlessly into a timelessly modern new building featuring an elaborate roof structure. This stylistic approach is also evident throughout the interior design – in the 102 guest rooms, the on-site bar and on the roof terrace.
