Just half an hour from the historic city of Avignon, Château Poesie is a beautiful 18th century château that has been wonderfully restored to sleep up to 29 guests across its main house and farmhouse cottage.
Furnished traditionally yet with modern touches, experience the beauty and character of this unique and historic abode.
Ideal for family holidays or an enchanting venue for a wedding celebration, each of the sixteen bedrooms is en suite, giving guests a touch of luxury in idyllic surroundings.
Outside, explore the vast enclosed grounds with streams, orchards, mature parkland, formal gardens as well as squash, tennis and basketball.
A large swimming pool is the perfect place to cool down on warm summer days and there are many quiet spots across the garden for a glass of Côtes du Ventoux wine from a local vineyard.
This region is steeped in history and tradition as you will discover when you visit the many pretty villages, market towns and famous cities.
Experience the delightful ambience at local markets offering the very best regional produce and sample wines in some of France’s famous vineyards along the Rhône river.
Admire the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Avignon and Nîmes, follow Van Gogh’s footsteps in Gordes and St-Rémy and look out for musical concerts performed in the Roman theatres of Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine.
