If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature, you've come to the right place! The holiday home, with a total of two holiday flats, is located in the holiday village of Frankenau, nestled in the Kellerwald/Edertalsperre nature park and lies in the Waldecker Bergland. Access to the Kellerwald forest is just 30 metres away. This is where the endless and well signposted hiking trails through the magnificent and beautiful Kellerwald forest begin. Ideal for nature lovers and dog lovers. The house is located at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, with a wonderful view of the valley and the village of Frankenau, and the winter sports areas of Winterberg and Willingen are only approx. 43 km away.
Our holiday flat Kellerwald is a high-quality and very lovingly furnished holiday flat with its own entrance, which was newly renovated in 2021 and is located on the ground floor of a two-storey, half-timbered holiday home. This idyllic and bright flat in the middle of nature, with an open-plan living concept, is fully furnished to a very high standard and has many extras, a large terrace with parasol and garden furniture, as well as a modern pellet stove from Haas & Sohn, and new, digitally controllable Thermotec radiators. WLAN is available for free use throughout the flat. No liability is assumed for failures. The use of the car parking space (for one car) on the property is free of charge.
The flat has a lawn and terrace area enclosed by a 1.20 metre high picket fence. This is accessible via the patio door of the living area, as well as via the garden gate. Garden furniture and a parasol are available. In the garden area there are various play equipment for children, which may be used at their own risk and under the supervision of the parents, up to two well-behaved and house-trained dogs are welcome, bed linen / sheets and towels can be booked optionally.
Heating costs are charged per kilowatt hour consumed. We ask for a photo of the meter reading at check in and check out. After check-out you will receive an invoice for your electricity consumption.
The pellets for the pellet stove are charged per kilogramme consumed. After checking out, you will receive an invoice for your pellet consumption.

The village of Frankenau is only 1.5 km away. There you will find a bakery, a bank with ATM, a 24-hour petrol station, a fast-charging station for electric vehicles at the Kellerwald-Halle (1 km away), a bakery, a grocery shop, a pharmacy, several restaurants, etc. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday village is the Kellerwald Clock, a horse farm and the Archehof, as well as nature, nature and more nature.the winter sports resorts of Willingen and Winterberg with its ski carousel are only about 40 km away.the towns of Korbach and Bad Willdungen with their historic old towns are also highly recommended.the Edersee with its dam is only a few minutes' drive away. There is also a zoo there.
