A charming detached stone cottage in the quiet village of Banavie, with stunning views towards Ben Nevis, 1 mile from Corpach and 3 miles from Fort William.
Whilst retaining its traditional charm, this Fort William cottage benefits from a lovely contemporary bathroom and all modern conveniences.
This Fort William cottage is ideal for a family group who want to explore the highlands and perhaps take part in some of the numerous outdoor pursuits on offer here.
The accommodation in this cottage near Fort William is all on one level, and includes two spacious bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements.
The cosy sitting room has a woodburning stove, a reclining leather suite and a great bay window allowing for full appreciation of the fabulous mountain views.
There is a homely kitchen/dining room in this Fort William cottage, just right for a hearty meal after a day in the great outdoors.
A private driveway leads up to the cottage, and the natural garden has a rear gate that leads directly out to the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase.

Laxdale Cottage is a cosy single storey cottage in the village of Banavie, with views towards Ben Nevis. There is a double room and a twin room which can also be offered as a super king-size double. There is a family bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for three cars, and a natural garden leads down to a gate to the canal. Laxdale Cottage makes a good base for enjoying this part of the highlands, including Fort William and Glencoe.

The cottage is an idyllic property with an amazing view of Ben and the canal lock on doorstep
It was well equipped for our stay including a welcome food pack to start us off awaiting our arrival ! All we needed to bring ourselves were clothes and wash bag
Every thing thought of for an enjoyable stay

We enjoyed another wonderful week at Laxdale. Everything you require and more is provided. The bed is so comfortable and the wood burner was well used during the cold wintry spell of weather. John and Shirley the owners are great at communicating before arrival are always available to get in touch with if needed. We hope to return.

This property is excellent, everything perfect, including a very nice welcome pack consisting of milk eggs bread cheese etc etc. we had a wonderful week, and will definitely return next year (if we get time off from looking after grandchildren)
