No smoking.. Elizabethan House is 17th-century Grade II listed property located in Portland, situated just 500 yards from Chesil Beach and within a short walk from the National Sailing Academy. Internally, the property has been refurbished whilst retaining a character style with exposed stone walls, stripped floors and timber beams.
Externally, the enclosed front and rear courtyard gardens provide the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the attractions of Weymouth and Portland. Portland Harbour is a short drive away and offers some of the finest small boat sailing waters in Northern Europe.
This location was the official venue for the Olympic sailing events in 2012. Portland also boasts Chesil Beach, an impressive 18-mile long shingle beach within just 500 yards of the property. There is a good selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance.
For a greater selection of amenities and attractions, the traditional seaside town of Weymouth can be reached within a 15 minute drive.
Weymouth boasts a large expanse of golden sand, complete with Punch and Judy show and donkey rides in the summer.

This used to be my nans home I spent many holidays here it was nice to come back it felt like coming back home with very good memories we have already booked to come back next year the only thing that was wrong was the front door it was hard to open as it was sticking at the bottom otherwise it was a perfect holiday thankyou

Cottage cosy and plenty of room.Could have done with a cupboard or shelves under microwave to store food.The crockery etc was all high quality and plentiful.The biggest problem was finding somewhere to park the little carpark on the doorstep was full as were the roads and it was a wet winter weekend.Must be really difficult in the summer.Overall we loved our New Year’s time in the cottage

Location was good. Very near pebble beach and dog friendly Parking was hit and miss. Kitchen abit tired.
We asked for highchair, what we got was really filthy, had to soak the harness in vanish and scrub the whole chair before it could be used and fridge/freezer was rusty and broken inside.
