Situated in the heart of the Isère region of the French Alps, L'Alpe D'Huez ski resort enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and is known as the "island of sunshine". With Grenoble only 1 hour away, the mild weather and great snow conditions make this a real paradise for skiers and boarders. The resort is located at 1,860 metres of altitude, with a ski area of 236 km, and a top elevation of 3,330 metres. The longest run is an amazing 16 km. L'Alpe D'Huez is part of the Grand Domaine ski area, where a wide range of slopes for every level of skier can be found. A variety of fun activities in the town centre will keep your friends and family entertained during the après-ski.
