The situation and facilities are excellent. A parking space in the centre of Ambleside was so valuable to us. Ambleside has such good bus links, especially for those of us who have a Nowcard so it is all free! The cottage had everything we needed. This was a return to the same cottage we were in exactly a year before - that tells its own story.

Enjoyed our stay in the cottage, only tiny thing was the size of the bath towels, which would be better if they were bigger and the road noise, but did not detract from us having a wonderful time and having a designated car parking space was the icing on the cake, thank you!

Unfortunately, the week we stayed it rained 80% of the time, but we were lucky in having such a nice and well equipped place to stay and dry out.
A small Spar shop and Chinese takeaway were a god send only a few meters away.
