This Grade II listed cottage is in an excellent location for enjoying coastal walks and many family attractions in the area..
Ground Floor: Living room: Freeview Smart TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Woodburner Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Washing Machine First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
Initial fuel for wood burner included.
Travel cot and highchair.
Telephone (honesty box).
Enclosed tiered garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue.
On road parking, 20 yards.

In the small village of Walditch, in an AONB, 2.5 miles from the quaint fishing port of West Bay on the famous scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast and Chesil Beach, and 1 mile from the market town of Bridport, this well presented Grade II listed cottage with views over adjacent fields is in an excellent holiday location to explore West Dorset from Lyme Regis, with its famous Cobb, to Weymouth.
Enjoy coastal walking on this dramatically beautiful coastline and visit many family attractions.
Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.
Free WiFi Due to the age and construction of historic homes, it is not uncommon following periods of heavy rain or major differences in weather conditions for moisture present in the walls to form patches of condensation internally as the colder air meets the warmer air inside.
As this occasionally occurs within the living room in one corner, which is a cold spot, the owners have provided a dehumidifier for your use should this occur during your stay.
Usually this only occurs during the colder winter months but keeping the cottage ventilated during your stay, such as by opening the window when cooking or showering helps reduce the moisture already in the cottage and reduces the likelihood of this occurring as it allows excess moisture to escape and the old house to breathe.

A very nice grade 11 listed cottage with two very nice bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge. The garden was lovely with a couple of different tiers to it with garden tables and chairs provided. The village of WALDITCH was very pretty and well worth a walk around.

Applewood Cottage was very comfortable and welcoming and Tracy the owner helpful with her information. It was a very enjoyable stay and a lovely place to relax and unwind. Would definitely recommend it as a peaceful but very convenient place to stay. Thank you 😁
