Situated on the 3rd and last floor of an 18th century stone building, this superb and spacious duplex apartment of 135 m² offers an incredible view of the quays of Bordeaux and the Pont de Pierre.
In the heart of Bordeaux, at the foot of the Porte de Bourgogne, shops and restaurants, the Richelieu offers you all the comfort for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux.
Thanks to its three large bedrooms, it can comfortably accommodate 6 travellers.
Le Richelieu is fully furnished and equipped so that you only have to put down your suitcases.

A few steps from all shops and transport, this apartment offers the following facilities: - A large living room, bathed in light, with sofa, flat screen TV and dining table - A separate kitchen fully equipped: fridge, hob, microwave and traditional oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and many kitchen utensils - Three large bedrooms with double beds (160), one of which is a duplex - Each room has a bathroom with Italian shower or bathtub and separate toilet.
From June 1 to September 1, 2025, major work is underway in the immediate vicinity of the home, on the Cours Alsace Lorraine and at the “Porte de Bourgogne” streetcar stop.
This work on the tramway lines is totally beyond our control.
We have no control over work schedules.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Hotel quality bed linen and towels (4/5 stars) are provided, your bed will be made on your arrival.
Dishcloths and bath mats are also provided.
Naturally, Wifi is accessible and free! A parking space at the parking "Salinières" (300 m away) is offered with the apartment.
For your information, the street where is located the apartment is not accessible by car.
You will be welcomed on site in a personalized manner by a person from the Cocoonr agency in Bordeaux who will introduce you to the accommodation, answer your questions and give you the keys.

A bit of history! The Burgundy Gate is located at the end of the former ditches of the current Saltworks Cours Victor-Hugo (former rue des Fossés) on the site of the former medieval gate of the Saltworks.
It marks the official entrance to the city on the old road leading to Paris.
Tourny wanted it to be an accompaniment for the Place Royale (now Place de la Bourse) and consecrated it to Prince Monseigneur the Duke of Burgundy on 24 January 1757.
It was for a time the Porte Napoléon to celebrate the Emperor's arrival in Bordeaux in 1808.

We loved the location, the only issue being the loud tram stop directly outside the main bedroom window. It may have been because the wine festival was on but was very loud until late at night.
Other than that exactly as described and the host was extremely accommodating following a delayed flight and late arrival.
We had a great time in Bordeaux as the flat is really well located.

The flat is beautiful, as described. It’s centrally located but in a dodgy neighborhood. What we disliked is the fact that we pay a lot for cleaning and the day we left we got a message with rules to follow before we leave ie., empty the garbage bin, it’s not enough that the dishes are washed, they ...
