Information about the host
After extensive restoration work in 2017 and 2018, the former 'Chalet Edelweiss' has become 'das Gams'. The owners of the house are still the two close friends from northern Germany, who have fallen in love with Gosau and the Salzkammergut and spend their time in Gosau as often as possible - 'dasGams' is a lovingly furnished flat house with a swimming pond, sauna, large lounge and sunbathing lawn in the centre of Gosau. Our non-smoking house is situated in a completely quiet location with an unobstructed view over the meadows to the Gosaukamm. All flats are fully equipped with south-facing balcony or terrace. Bus connection (approx. 10 minutes to the Gosaukamm cable car), supermarket, café, restaurant and bank are 5-10 minutes' walk away. Ideal starting point for a variety of activities in the Dachstein West World Heritage Site. Our own large natural swimming pond (8 x 20 m) with bathhouse and sunbathing lawn provides a refreshing dip after extensive activities. Lake Gosau and Lake Hallstatt are just a few minutes away. We ask for your understanding that we can only accept bookings of 4 nights or more. For a fixed booking a deposit of 30% of the total rental price is required. We would be delighted to welcome you to our 'feel-good house'!

1 bedroom - 1 bathroom - max. 4 guests - 50 m2 You are looking for a flat for two in order to be alone and you want to relax completely? Then flat "Edelweiss" is for you. It consists of a bedroom, a dining and a living area with a nice sleeping sofa and a separate kitchen, a generous bathroom and of course, like all the other flats, with a gorgeous view of the Gosaukamm.

Conditions/extras
Every flat in our Chalet Edelweiss is completely furnished and has got all mods and cons, WiFi is available, there are flatscreen TVsets and we have our own carpark. In winter you have access to a heated skiing cellar, bicycles can be left at the house, or possibly in the garden shed or the skiing cellar. And naturally you have to your disposal – exclusively with the other guests of our Chalet- the beautiful natural swimming pond.
