The Cocoonr/Bookandpay agency in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume offers this 200 m² air-conditioned house with private swimming pool for rent, which can accommodate up to 10 guests. It features a 75 m² living room (with wood-burning stove), fully-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, four bathrooms (with shower and bath) and a 2,300 m² garden. Wifi (fiber optics) included, we're waiting for you!
The accommodation is composed as follows:
First floor:
- A 75 m² living/dining room, equipped with sofa, flat-screen TV, table and chairs, buffet (large and small plates, wine glasses, champagne glasses), wood-burning stove (wood not supplied).
- A fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, crepe maker, and all you need for baking and cooking).
- A laundry room equipped with washing machine and dryer, with access to an outside area. It is also equipped with storage cupboards and a combined fridge-freezer.
- An office area with 2 desks, a flat-screen TV and a sofa, which also has access to the outside and a covered terrace with a table and chairs.
- A separate toilet with hand-washer and dryer and a small window.
- Two spacious bedrooms equipped with TV, large closet with built-in drawers, memory foam beds measuring 160×200, and each with its own shower room with washbasin and small storage units.
- A master bedroom overlooking the pool, with access to the terrace. The bedroom features a memory foam bed measuring 160×200, a flat-screen TV and a large dressing room with closet, shelves and drawers. An en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub, shower, washbasin with vanity unit, and WC.
First floor:
- A mezzanine equipped with a 140×190 sofa bed.
- A bedroom with two 90×200 single beds that can be brought together to form a 190×200 double bed. A shower room, with shower, washbasin and storage units, WC and window to the outside.
Each bedroom is equipped with reversible air-conditioning and has its own shower room.
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, washing machine, cot, plancha, tumble dryer, fan, ironing board and iron.
Exterior:
- A swimming pool (private, unheated)measuring 10x5m, includes a small beach measuring 3x3m. It is secured by a code alarm and opened between May and September.
- The pool house, opposite the pool, is equipped with a fridge to keep your cold drinks close at hand when you're relaxing by the pool or on the deckchair.
- The 2,300 m² garden is south-facing, fully enclosed and unoverlooked. Garden furniture, deckchairs, large cushions and parasols are at your disposal.
- Two travertine terraces. The first, covered, is furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The second, facing south and measuring 300 m², is equipped with a table, chairs and parasols, providing an ideal space to relax and a toilet.
- The outdoor kitchen, located inside the barbecue, features a functional oven, a small auxiliary fridge and some barbecue utensils. You'll also find a sink and the necessary cleaning supplies to facilitate your outdoor experience.
The house is ideally located in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, in very pleasant surroundings. Here you'll find Hyper U, Intermarché, LIDL and ALDI, as well as several bakeries. The town center offers clothes stores, hairdressers and charming restaurants. In addition, the large Saint-Maximin market is held every Wednesday morning. The nearest beach is in Cassis, just 30 minutes away by car.
Activities :
- Hiking in the Sainte-Baume and Sainte-Victoire massifs.
- Golf at Nans-les-Pins.
- Typical Provencal markets, lavender fields and wineries.
- Relax on the beach or try your hand at water sports: jet-skiing, diving, sailing.
- Hiking, swimming and activities in the Gorges du Verdon: canoeing, rafting, horseback riding, paragliding.
- Visit the Basilique de Saint-Maximin, Provence's largest Gothic edifice, home to the remains of Saint Mary Magdalene, Christianity's third holy tomb.
- Accrobranche, spa treatments and cures, animal parks.
- Aix-en-Provence 30 minutes away, Marseille 40 minutes.
- Visit the Calanques, 40 minutes away by car.
- Walks on Lac d'Esparron and Lac de Sainte-Croix (in the Gorges du Verdon), 1 hour away by car.
- Nice 1 hour away.
- Italy 2 hours away.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you'll be able to park in the enclosed outdoor parking lot, which is suitable for all types of vehicle, and also has a bike rack.

- Nearest airport: Marseille Marignane airport approx. 66 km away.
Other remarks :
- Free WiFi available (fiber optics).
- The wood-burning stove is functional, but wood is not supplied.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- Bed linen, towels and beach towels are not included and can be provided on request, at extra cost (rental and payment to be made with our local partner). Prices given are indicative and subject to change by our partner.
- There is an indoor camera pointing towards the front door and an outdoor camera pointing towards the gate: they are disabled and protected by a cover. It is not possible to remove them.
- A motion detector is installed inside the accommodation; this is not a video surveillance device.
- A parent is responsible for children's swimming. Swimming pool opening dates are non-contractual and subject to change. Subject to favorable weather conditions
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.
